1970s Beta max Vs VHS

People wanted a VCR because they would be able to record a show while watching another. Sony corporations made the beta max in 1975. This was also a more advance VCR, because before VCRs had unclear pictures. This VCR had a less expensive design letting more people would enjoy other worlds. But when the VHS came out in 1977 it was just like the beta max except it was able to hold 5 to even 9 hours, as where the Beta max could still only record an hour long video. Now people wouldn't have to deal with one recording per tape. Mass production of the VCR had begun.
